How can I see a dermatologist in Canada? Do I have to get a doctor's note?

Basically, what the title says. I've been wanting to see one for a while.How can I see a dermatologist in Canada? Do I have to get a doctor's note?
In my experience (I'm in Alberta) if you want/need to see any specialist you need to be referred by your family doctor (ie, a GP, general practiconeer).





Make an appointment with your regular doctor (if you don't have one, find one who's taking new patients) and tell him/her your concerns. They'll refer you to the dermatologist if they think it's necessary.
