I want to become a dermatologist. What schools should I be looking at?

I currently live in Minnesota and will be graduating high school this spring! I would go pre-med somewhere and then I have no idea. I am looking for a school with good creds and maybe close to home.I want to become a dermatologist. What schools should I be looking at?
Then you answered your question.

Break out of the mold. Go someplace different for college. You have been living as a Yankee in a cold spot. Go to school in the South. Enjoy southern living at it's best. The University of Tennessee has a great medical school........I want to become a dermatologist. What schools should I be looking at?
A Dermatologist is a Doctor.

Take pre-med classes.

Biology, Chemistry, Math, English...Woodshop doesn't help much with getting a Medical Degree.
All Medical colleges have this specialization.

Join a Govt Recognized college.
why not try the cosmetology school at century?
Any college will work for pre-med, so pick a school in a location you like, where you can do well. Then comes the MCAT and med school. THEN you get to go into dermatology.

You're going to have to do VERY well in medical school to be a dermatologist. Residencies for that specialty are quite competitive. (They have a nice lifestyle and make a boatload of cash.)

Good luck!
Dematology is a specialty for medical doctors. So you have to get a degree (preferably pre-med or chemistry) and an MD and then a residency specializing in dematology.
