Do you have to get a blood test if you see the dermatologist?

I am going to visit the dermatologist tomorrow and I was just wondering if i HAVE to get a blood test.

Is there a way to escape it?

Thanks in advance!!!Do you have to get a blood test if you see the dermatologist?
It depends what you are seeing them for. If acne, possibly to check hormones since they can play a role. If something you could go on a treatment for but they need testing first to make sure are not pregnant, don't have liver problems and such. (i know for my psoriasis i have to get bloodwork done first if i am going to start a pill treatment as i Absolutely can not take it if i am pregnant, and it could cause liver issues if i already have them)

One thing though, often times dermatologists don't even have the blood taken there. Often they will give you a prescription to get it done somewhere elseDo you have to get a blood test if you see the dermatologist?
Im probably wrong, ive never been to one my acne isnt that bad (yet).

But, why would u have to get your blood drawn, that has nothing to do with skin, does it?
Probably not, but it depends on why you're seeing the dermatologist.
