What subjects should i specialise in at school to help me become a dermatologist

Also subject suggestions for what to take in university

And if possible a university that is good to study dermatology at

by the way I'm from NEW ZEALANDWhat subjects should i specialise in at school to help me become a dermatologist
Oh hey!! I used to live in New Zealand for 6 years...

Anyway, I'm not sure what subjects there are for that university, but I'd focus on biology, especially where it talks about the skin. Chemistry would really help too. People like to go to dermatologists these days to make their skin more smooth and beautiful.

I'm sure any good university will let you have a deeper study in dermatology, so if you have good grades I wouldn't worry too much. What subjects should i specialise in at school to help me become a dermatologist
The answer is the same as for those who wanted to be an OB/GYN, a pediatric surgeon, a cardiologist, and various other medical specialties and sub- (and even sub-sub- ) specialties.

What you need to take to get into medical school and prepare for success in and after medical school is going to be basically the same regardless of what specialty you think you might pursue. (By the way, it's not at all uncommon to leave medical school with a very different professional direction than when one entered.) And MOST of medical school will still be just the same regardless. Most of the divergence will be after medical school.
Biology, Chemistry, Math
